Just Wow! This is the best Thai food we've ever had. It's rare for us to find a restaurant we would consider amazing on a scale that goes from good and very good to excellent and then amazing. Definitely amazing and a solid 10 out of 10. The ambiance and service only added to the outstanding food to make the total experience sublime. Our server helped us navigate the menu and had definite opinions when it came to narrowing down tough decisions between dishes that all sounded fantastic. No wishy washy, "It depends what you're in the mood for." She was confident in her choices and her recommendations were spot on. Now, it's entirely possible the entire menu is great, so I guess we'll just have to come back and try the other options to see. 😉 Can't wait!😋

A True Gem — The Best Thai Restaurant in Town Mitr Thai is, without question, the finest Thai dining experience in the city. Every dish is crafted with thoughtful precision and a deep understanding of balance. When coconut found its way into a dish, it was always complemented by a peppery kick — preventing sweetness from ever becoming cloying. The crispy pork was far more than just fried strips — it was layered with beautifully harmonized flavors that lingered long after the bite. The sirloin beef fried rice, topped with cured egg yolk, was a revelation. That one bite offered a kind of culinary awakening I was not prepared for — and will not soon forget. Another highlight was the crab meat in coconut cream. Rich, flavorful, and deeply satisfying — though as a Bengali, I could not help but crave a serving of steamed rice instead of the rice noodles. That classic combination is etched into my soul. Beyond the food, the ambiance of Mitr Thai speaks to the same careful curation seen in their dishes. The interior, music, and overall vibe strike a beautiful balance between comfort and sophistication. What impressed me most was the regional diversity represented across the menu — dishes from different parts of Thailand, each with its own distinct character and flavor profile. I would highly recommend Mitr Thai to anyone seeking a truly authentic and unforgettable Thai culinary journey.

I got dinner with a friend here and I highly recommend. Make sure you make reservations, it gets busy. Our server, Popeye (cutest name ever), was super sweet and gave us great recommendations. She kept our table super clean, especially between courses when swapping out our plates, which we really appreciated. We ordered the Hors D'oeuvre Muang, KanomJeen Numya Phu, and Pad Mhee Korat at Popeye's recommendation. Highly recommend all three although the KanomJeen Numya Phu was my favorite. Our dessert was a sweet sticky rice dish with palm seed, coconut milk and coconut ice cream called I-Tim Boran. I don't see it on the online menu but I'm including a photo for reference. It was delicious so definitely ask about it!
